Bachelor of Fine Arts - Syracuse University (1997).
MFA in Illustration - FIT (2011).

Chad Wallace is an award-winning artist from Westchester, NY. Chad’s paintings and illustrations often feature animals, realistically rendered or anthropomorphized to a degree.  He credits his experiences growing up in rural Northern Westchester and summers in the Lower Hudson Valley for leading him in this direction.  He has illustrated twelve books for children including:  Seahorses (2012), The Mouse And The Meadow (2014), which he wrote and illustrated, Mighty Mole and Super Soil (2015), and Tall Tall Tree (2017).  He is also a member of the Society of Illustrators NY.

Chad has worked with publishers Henry Holt, Scholastic, Sterling, and Dawn Publications.  He has also served as an adjunct professor of illustration at Syracuse University and the New York City College of Technology, and presently holds positions at the Fashion Institute of Technology, Western Connecticut State University, and New Jersey City University.
